I’m Katie Abeltin, a professional organizer with experience working both independently and for a large, established organizing company. Over the years, I’ve organized everything from influencer beauty closets to full-home transformations for busy professionals and families who value efficiency, discretion, and elevated spaces.

Before launching The Girlfriend Effect, I also worked as an office manager and executive assistant, supporting high-level teams and individuals behind the scenes. That background deeply shapes how I organize: I think in systems, anticipate needs, and create setups that actually hold up in real life, not just on day one.

Originally from the Jersey shore and now based in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, I bring a refined, practical approach to organizing that blends structure with warmth. The Girlfriend Effect was created to feel like having someone you trust step in, take over, and make everything easier - seamlessly, thoughtfully, and without judgment.
